One of the “enfants terribles” of Japanese cinema, Shin’ya Tsukamoto came to Porto in 1992 and made a blast with his saga “Tetsuo”. Now, years later, he returns with great international acclaim, in a totally different tone. This is the saga of a young boy who sees the world crumble before him but is always fighting for survival and human kindness. That is, the point of view of ordinary people when war ends peace. Selection of the Venice Film Festival 2023 where it won the Net Pac Award.
