Over 100 faces make this film a hymn to expression on the human face. The screening of this 2025 film at Fantasporto is a tribute to Carlos Augusto, the recently deceased director of photography. Luís Moya has already won the Portuguese Cinema Award with “Mia Mia Tamam Tamam” in 2013 and received an International Jury Mention and Audience Award with “Por Detrás da Moeda” in 2020, which was subsequently awarded at the Trujillo Independent Film Festival and the L’Age D’Or International Arthouse Film Festival. “Som da Alma” won the Best Documentary and Best Screenplay awards at the Arouca Film Festival.
