A romantic story set in the world of Country and Western music, a true feast for the hears, coming from the celebrated director of “Drop Dead Fred” and “Highway to Hell”. A couple pretends to be husband and wife to participate on a tv program that intends to discover new talents. They will be Mr and Mrs Americana, in a reality show in which they are supposed to beat each other. In their way is a predator, mischief, vengeance, a lot of fine music and a million-dollar contract. A “fresco” about the reality past and present of Country Music and an homage to musicians Loretta Lynn and Robbie Robertson.
