In the intimate theatre of pain, Filomena is an actress, a mirror and a relic. She collects masks like someone who collects ghosts. Each one holds a trace, a memory that refuses to go away. As she absorbs the torment, her body begins to give way, the boundary between reality and nightmare dissolves. In the house, in the shadows, in the pain that haunts her, Filomena listens, until she disappears into them.
