Stealing Pulp Fiction • Danny Turkiewicz • 78′ (EUA) • World Premiere
Closing Ceremony • March 8 • 9:15pm • Room 1
Two men, in love with Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Pulp Fiction’, decide to steal the film director’s very rare 35 mm print and screening soon in a small neighbourhood cinema. To do this, they need a plan. In the meantime, they come face to face with the film director they admire so much, meet a psychiatrist in search of redemption and Taylor Hill, a Victoria’s Secret model. An intelligent comedy that brings together cinephilia and the audacity of fans. With a group of excellent actors, it has a direct link to the humour of ‘Seinfeld’, through the presence of Jason Alexander, with Karan Soni from ‘Californication’ and ‘DeadPool’, Matt Adams from ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and Jon Rudnitsky from ‘Saturday Night Live’. This is Danny Turkiewicz’s first feature film.
