A taxi driver is facing financial difficulties. It’s in his car where he feels comfortable and tries to overcome adversity. Until the day a customer offers to make him a lot of money in one night, as long as he doesn’t ask about what he’s being told to do. He soon realises that he has entered a strange and violent world. A magnificent example of how, with good ideas and few resources, you can make a winning film. A great performance by Nathanael Chadwick in this film that won Best First Feature and the Audience Award at Fantasia International Film Festival (Canada) and Best Low Budget Film at Fantaspoa international Fantastic Film Festival (Brazil).
Michael Pierro
Canadian film director, editor and screenwriter, known for his short films ‘Cafeteria’ (2006), ‘Hey, George’ (2010), ‘Waking’ (2011) and ‘Room for Rent’ (2017), among others. ‘Self Driver’ (2024) is his first feature film. “Self Driver“ (2024) é a sua primeira longa-metragem.
