Homoka is teaching a class of losers over the summer. However, she remembers her boyfriend who had a very serious accident that left him in a coma shortly before. Visions begin and Homoka sees that everything has to do with what happened at that school a long time ago. A girl had killed herself, falling from the school ceiling. Why did she kill herself? And what voices obsessed her? Another original horror film by Takashi Shimizu, director of the celebrated “The Grudge” “The Howling Village” and “Immersion” among others, and winner with “The Suicide Forest Village” of the Best Fantasy Film award at Fantasporto in 2021.
Takashi Shimizu
The director was born in Japan in 1972 and it is known for “Ju-on” (2002), “The Grudge” (2004), the American remake of “Ju-on”, “ The Grudge 2” (2006) and “Howling Village” (2019), selected for the Sitges and Neuchatel Film Festivals and presented in Fantasporto 2020. “The Suicide Forest Village” (2021) won the Best Fantastic Film award at Fantasporto in 2021. “Immersion” followed , presented in world premiere at Fantasporto 2023.
