This time, Lamangan takes viewers to a group of old prostitutes who live in a house left to them by the late lover of one of them. And when their estranged families fail them, they are left with the friendship that unites them. Stories of love, respect, survival, violence and illusion.
Joel C. Lamangan
Multi-awarded Filipino actor and director Joel C. Lamangan studied film and theater at schools in the Philippines and abroad. He acted and directed for stage and television, then took screen roles, before opting for film direction, making his debut in 1991 with “Darna”. Among his films are “The Flor Contemplacion Story” (1995) which won the Golden Pyramid award in Cairo and Hustisya was shown in and competed in Warsaw and Nantes.“Rainbow Sunset” (2018) , already screened in Fantasporto, won the Special Jury Prize at the Houston International Film Festival.
