After her grandfather’s death, the granddaughter, along with her girlfriend and her friend, discover the isolated ranch house she inherited. But horror soon sets in. Everyone is caught up in a game of life and death for rich people that is taking place there. Based on the classic horror pattern of ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ with a touch of Troma Entertainment – and Lloyd Kaufman even makes a small appearance – the film has plenty blood and guts. Brazil’s Fantaspoa Film Festival selection.
Mike McCutchen
American film director, art department coordinator and special effects artist. He is best known for ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ (2019), of which he was the art department coordinator. ‘A Game in the Woods’ is his second feature film, after “The Next Kill” (2018), winner of the Special Award for visual excellence at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival and Best Animated Film at the Something Wicked Film Festival.
