With a ruthless war in his country, Ukrainian director Kornii Hrystiuk recalls in this documentary the Russian film industry propaganda over the years and how power has manipulated the perception of its countrymen. By intervening in films, television series, children’s films and even advertising, the nomenclature is moulding public opinion and justifying its war action in Ukraine, but also in Syria and Africa. An excellent documentary that spans decades and explains the deep roots of a war in our times.
