March 8 • 5:00pm • Room 2
Film director Rodrigo Aragão is perhaps the best heir to the Brazilian tradition of Mojica Marins. Now he’s bringing us six horror stories, including one by the Portuguese José Pedro Lopes (‘Insonho’). On the screen horror stories showing us different types, from the most traditional through possessions and ancestral demons that lure and torment mortals, or playing on misconceptions and fantasies in time with titles such as ‘Necromântica’, ‘Spalla, “Carpe Diem Daemonium” or “Insonho”. It’s worth noting the high quality of the effects and make-up by Rodrigo Aragão and his team, who have already won international awards.
