Who is that young girl fallen in the street? Taken home by a family out of pity, the satisfaction the young girl feels is quite evident. On both sides, suspicions follow. Who is she, why doesn’t she talk, what is she hiding? What risks does the family run without knowing who they brought into their house? The young girl’s past is gradually revealed, in a reliving of horrors in the middle of Angolan society.
