Zero – Jean Luc Herbulot – 90’ (EUA)

March 1 • 7:30pm • Room 1

A surprising American film shot in Dakar, Senegal. An American man wakes up on a bus with a bomb on his chest and a mobile phone giving him instructions. In a clash of civilisations, the white man confronts chaos, not knowing why he was chosen or how to deal with the situation. He is constantly under surveillance and has a mission he doesn’t know about. Another American is in the same situation. In the streets, the crowd is rioting and poverty reigns. The end justifies the means. Winner of the Òrbita Award for Best Film at the Sitges – Catalonian International Film Festival.
