Adam and Eve have recently moved to a luxury farmhouse in the countryside. On the occasion of his birthday, the coupe has for dinner friends Lucas and Chloe. The four are going to challenge each other and uncover some secrets. Tension rises. But a sudden and terrifying invasion happens and the forces in question change. This is the first feature film by experienced and twice Oscar nominated producer Charles Dorfman (The King’s Speech” in 2011 and “The Lost Girl” in 2022), with remarkable acting by Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton in “Game of Thrones”) and Catalina Sandino Moredo (Oscar nominee for “Mary, Full of Grace”).
First feature by one of the producers of “The King’s Speech” (2011), a four Oscar winner feature (among them Best Film and Best Actor for Colin Firth) and more recently “The Lost Daughter” (2021), with Maggie Gyllenhaal, winner of the Best Film Award at the Gotham Awards and nominated for the Oscars – Best Adapted Screenplay in 2022. “Barbarians” is his first feature film as a director.
