ENTRIES ARE OPEN FOR THE 32nd EDITION OF FANTASPORTO.
The 2012 edition of the OPORTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL will take place from 20th February till 4th of March
The deadline for the sending of a copy (in dvd) of your film for the jury selection is DECEMBER, 5th.
The film must be accompanied by the "entry form" and its synopsis.

RULES AND REGULATIONS EXCERPT:
"1 – The 32nd edition of the OPORTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL – FANTASPORTO 2012 will take place from 20th February till 4th of March
2 - The Festival main purpose is screening and promoting films of quality, both aesthetically and thematically, and to seek new forms and methods of filmmaking.
3 - The Festival has eight sections.
3.1. Competitive Sections:
3.1.1 - Official Competition for Fantasy Films – new feature and short films, unreleased in Portugal with fantasy as main genre. Both features and shorts (these maximum 15 minutes in length) must have been produced between 2011 and 2012.
3.1.2. – Official Competition Directors Week – for new feature films in all subjects other than fantasy, unreleased in Portugal and produced between 2011 and 2012.
3.1.3. – Official Competition Orient Express - for Asiatic feature films, unreleased in Portugal and produced between 2011 and 2012.
3.2. Non - Competitive Sections:
3.2.1. Official Section Panorama & Première - for feature films in all subjects, unreleased in Portugal.
3.2.2. - Anima-te (Animation features and shorts)
3.2.3. – Panorama of Portuguese Cinema
3.2.4. Fantas in Shorts - short films in all genres..."
"Les Affamés" from Robin Aubert, wins Best Film Award and Best Director for the Fantasy Film Official Section and "True Fiction" from Jin-Mook Kim, wins Best Film and Best Screenplay for the Directors Week Official Section.
Starting next February 22nd, the 39th edition of Fantasporto- Oporto International Film Festival, ends on March 2nd 2019 (competitions).
